My uncle, 2928554 Sgt. John Vincent Murphy, 2nd Battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, died from wounds sustained at Monte Cassino on 10th March 1944 and is buried in Cassino Military Cemetery.
I have yet to find a memorial on which he is commemorated, is it possible that somebody can identify such a memorial and can provide a photograph.
Grateful for any assistance.

Ken
I was hoping that there may be a Regimental Memorial.
However, I have a request on WW2Talk just in case there is a memorial in LIverpool.
Thanks for your interest.

Cheers Paul
If nothing turns up I will try WMT. The Sgts. photo in Italy was interesting but blurred too much on enlargement, however the Sgt standing on the extreme right could conceivably be him but without a clearer image I won't put any money on it.
The reference to the book "Charlie Company" brought back memories, I read it some 30 years ago and contacted the author, then a retired Lieut. Colonel. He was able to tell me how my uncle died. mortar boming whilst leading his Platoon forward to relieve D Company.
Best wishes
