I think it is because Dalserf is the name of the parish which contains the communities of Larkhall, Ashgill and Dalserf.

I'm sure you are correct Adam. I was just curious as to why "Dalserf Parish" was used for the WW2 section of the Larkhall Memorial.
I have seen cases where the WW2 deaths have been "concentrated" on one memorial, leaving the others with only WW1 deaths but, as far as I can see, all of those named on the WW2 section of the Dalserf Memorial are also listed on the Memorial in Larkhall. _________________ Ken |
