I'm not quite sure where this should go on the forum so I'll post it here.
I have created a video slideshow of Scottish war memorial statues and uploaded it to YouTube. You can see it here:

It is called "The Scottish Soldier in Bronze and Stone".
Cheers

I probably bit off a bit more than I could chew for my first attempt so it took a while to get it uploaded but for those interested in doing a similar sort of thing here's what I did.
I used the function in MS PowerPoint 2010 which converts a slideshow into a video.
I then opened it in Window Live Movie Maker where I added the music. Within Window Live Movie Maker there is an option to upload it to YouTube once it is saved.
After that I went into YouTube and updated the description and taglines boxes.
I could probably done it a slicker way but that seemed to work.
It took about five attempts to upload it. The problems I encountered were probably down to my ignorance and the fact I started with such a large file.
It also took some time to find suitable pipe tunes to fill the time without there being a huge gap at the end or without cutting a tune off half way through.
For the next one I will pick the tunes first and work out the number of photographs and timings of slides from that.
If you think it is too fast on some slides I have worked on the assumption that with YouTube you can always play it again or pause it.
Hopefully you enjoy it.
Cheers

Thanks for the kind comments. I must admit I've watched it a few times myself. There are some cracking photographs on this forum and with the pipe tunes in the background it's a pleasant way to while away 10 minutes.
Now that I've worked out how to do it I will probably do another one in the near future on another aspect of war memorials.
Thanks again.

Just stumbled across this after 5 years have passed.
Well worth another view of the video.
