Information from the family gravestone in the Bervie Cemetery.
Erected by Robert and Margaret Dickson in loving memory of their son Robert Dickson RNRT who departed this life at Haslar Hospital Gosport on 10/09/1918 aged 18 years and 3 months. Margaret Moncur wife of the above Robert Dickson died 05/08/1932 aged 69, also their grandchild, Robert B M Dickson died 19/10/1935 aged 14, the above Robert Dickson died 29/05/1940 aged 77, also their son James Moncur died 01/08/1960 aged 71 and his wife Isabella Davie died 05/08/1995 aged 96.

Information found on family gravestone in Bervie Cemetery.
In sacred memory of Duncan C Douglas, killed in action, HMS Malaya at the battle of Jutland. 1896-1916. John C Douglas died in infancy 1914, Hugh C Douglas 1868-1953, Alexina C Douglas 1900-1989, Robina W Douglas 1903-1993, Margaret C Douglas 1908-1997. Joseph C Douglas 1911-2003.
In front of the main family stone is a small one, with the following info on it. In memory of our child John C Douglas who died 01/11/1914 aged 3 months.

Information from the family gravestone in Bervie Cemetery. The stone is a tall grey pillar with an urn on top and a carving of a fishing boat on the front.
In loving memory of our dear father David Inglis who was lost at sea with his boat the "Jeannie Inglis" and all hands on 20/07/1906 aged 66 years. Also his wife Jane Inglis who died 26/05/1902 aged 68, also his son David Inglis and his son-in-law James Moncur, both aged 36 who were lost overboard from the "Jeannie Inglis" off Shetland 16/05/1906.
In loving memory of our dear mother Elizabeth Inglis died 23/08/1952 aged 82, beloved wife of James Moncur. Also our dear brother Pte James Moncur, killed in action 13/11/1916 aged 19 years, also our dear brother David I Moncur died 25/06/1961 aged 75, also our dear sister Phyllis Moncur died 07/04/1982 aged 70.
In loving memory of my dear son L/Cpl William Inglis killed in action 21/03/1918 aged 21, also Mary who died 05/11/1920 aged 20 and David who died 29/11/1944 aged 45, also our dear mother Mary Ann Wyllie who died 22/07/1952 beloved wife of the late David Inglis. Andrew Lownie, husband of the above died 29/01/1899 aged 35 (Interred at Bervie Churchyard in Bervie)
