Can anyone give me further info re this man? I have his CWGC/SNWM details and know that he was born in Ecclefechan and enrolled in Nov 1914.He was educated in England and wrote articles for the Annandale paper under a pseudonym. He is commemorated on Lockerbie civic,Waterbeck Church window and ROH.
Does anyone have pics of the latter and any other info?
Thanks
Hugh

Thinking about it, are you sure there is not some confusion here?

Your post refers to David Graham Patterson, the man at Lockerbie is David C Patterson (not G).

There is a David G Patterson at Middlebie and another (who may be the same) at Eaglesfield Bowling Club.

As the Waterbeck window is the civic memorial, I would not necessarily expect to find him on any other.

You may find my index for D&G useful - it is (mostly) up to date http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=938
