John R. Graham

His name appears on the Old Parish Church Great War Memorial in Hawick.

I cannot find him listed anywhere else that links him back to Hawick.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Derek,

Funnily enough, of the few Hawick related newspaper scans I'd set aside for you is one of these other Grahams.

He was previously wounded at the battle of the Marne, and had been in France since the war broke out.

Thanks Derek.
All I have on Robert C.Graham is that we was born in Morningside and that he was A son of Thomas Graham, slater, 16 Buccleuch Street, Hawick.
So he may have had a brother called John R Graham.

Robert Michie Graham was the second of 4 sons of Michael & Agnes Graham of 2 Silver Street, Hawick.
His brothers were James A., William and John, who was a shoemaker and survived the Great War. I wonder if John had a middle name?
