Old Parish Church - Hawick

Large bronze plaque now located in Hawick Wilton Lodge Museum after the Old Parish Church was demolished.

OS map ref NT490143 UKNIWM Ref: 44288

Unveiled on May 29th, 1921, by Lt.Col James Kennedy, D.S.O, M.C, D.C.M, Croix De Guerre.

Lists 85 men who died in the Great War.

1914 1919
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND
IN HONOURED MEMORY OF
THE MEMBERS AND ADHERENTS
OF THIS CHURCH WHO LAID
DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR
KING AND COUNTRY IN THE
GREAT WAR
