Munro & Co. Limited, Restalrig, Edinburgh
Current Location:Unknown
Number of WW1 Names: 6
I've placed this memorial in the "lost" section for the moment as I have been unable to establish much in the way of facts for this memorial.
Munro & Co were a textile firm who opened a factory in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh in 1899.
This postcard was purchased by me on Ebay recently. The seller had very little information on it and the postcard itself has nothing written on it. The photographer was a man named Alec Roberts and his studio was in Edinburgh.
If anyone has any other information on this memorial, or can confirm its current location, please let us know.

The old Munro & Co. Factory is still in place in Loaning Mills, Restalrig, but the company was taken over by Kinloch Anderson in the 1970's and the factory closed in the 1980's.
