Logie, of 198, Brixton Hill, London, and the late John Logie, of Trinidad, British West Indies. CWGC has Born at Moffat, Dumfriesshire. Medal Card has Mother: c/o J Brown Esq. 17 Archibald Pl; Edinburgh. A/cpl S/15246 Gordons. Will Probate Date: 3 Jan 1919. Address: 78 Amesbury Ave; Streatham to Mary Helen Logie, Widow. Only one man of this name was born in Scotland - 1886 at Moffat.
I would expect the details on CWGC to be correct - they were provided by his family, likely his mother who would have known the location. _________________ Jim
