Located within RM Condor (Arbroath) is the Ben Nowak Centre.

It is a sports facility built in memory of Corporal Ben Nowak who was killed in action in Iraq on Operation Telic.

Corporal Nowak was born in Portsmouth and grew up in Canada so I don't think he has any family connection to Scotland.
