|Pat - Originally named "The Edinburgh Institution for Languages and Mathematics", its name changed to Melville College in 1936.
Stewart's Melville College originated from the merger of two schools — Daniel Stewart's College and Melville College — in 1972.
As Kevin explains above "In 2002, extensive repair and restoration work was
carried out on the memorial. This included the addition
of two bronze plaques commemorating the First World War dead
of the Edinburgh Institution and the
Second World War dead of Melville College.
The names of the EI/MC fallen are recorded on a
bronze plaque on permanent display in the schools library."
I don't see this latter plaque on the Project?
