Ancestry is giving free access to all UK records this weekend - from 5th June at 0.01 to 7th June at 23.59. Guess I'll be burning the candle at both ends (and maybe even in the middle!)

Another "Free Weekend" on Ancestry - well it's probably going to be cold and wet and windy and etc. etc.

"From 14-17 April, you’ll be able to search millions of UK, Ireland and Commonwealth records – all completely free*. Start in Britain then head off to Australia, Canada, or wherever, and spend four full days finding long-lost family all over the Commonwealth."

From Ancestry:
Our military history is on our minds at the moment, with the Passchendaele centenary and the new Dunkirk film. But how many of your family members were involved in WWII? Did any of your relatives perish in the Great War? Could an ancestor have been awarded a medal after the Battle of Waterloo?

With free access to millions of UK military records from 21-24 July you can find the answers
.
