The first James Thomson could possibly be Pte. 6497, 11th A. & S. H. and has been listed under the wrong number in the Roll of Honour as he’s the only one I could find with a similar number.
+ Brother John McFarlane Dewar, Pte., 5804,10th Royal Highlanders/Black Watch, brother of Pte. William Milne Dewar died of wounds 29th June 1922 but doesn’t appear on any of the local Memorials. He is mentioned on the family’s gravestone in Denny Cemetery. His Service No. is listed in the Denny & Dunipace Roll of Honour.
