Has anyone ever purchased these?
I've e-mailed for a quote, as the ones I'm looking for haven't been digitized, but until I get a reply, I'd quite like an idea of general costs beforehand.

Much as I'd love to go ahead and purchase the Officers' Records for John Kilgour Baker (yes, THAT John Kilgour Baker - the one who's commemorated everywhere) and much as many answers to many questions would probably be revealed ..... I won't be going ahead with the purchase.
In his file there are 58 pages (no doubt filled with lots of previously unknown information) but at a cost of £75.40, I'm afraid my budget simply won't stretch that far.

Thanks to the link Derek posted above (Arcre Archive Research & Document Copying), I'd like to let everyone know that ......
Just over a week from ordering copies, I am now the delighted recipient of 78 pages of Officer's Records for a grand total cost of £7.02!!!
I originally requested an estimate from NA for a file of 58 pages as stated on their index which as far as I knew, covered the complete file. The cost for these 58 pages was estimated at £75.40.
This file is for John Kilgour Baker and I can't wait to read through all the pages. I will finally (I hope) be able to fill in the gaps in his military career which has driven me, and no doubt a few others here, round the bend for (at least) 7 years!!
So folks, I can highly recommend this service and for all of us who have pondered over whether or not to purchase Officer's Record - all I can say now is - GO FOR IT!
AT THIS SORT OF PRICE - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!

Great to hear of your happy result Anne,
I've been as much delighted with the service as yourself.
Cheers,

Thanks for the 'heads up' on a very competitively priced researcher.
