The traces of war website has recorded a war memorial at Loganlea in West Lothian.
http://en.tracesofwar.com/article/17386/War-Memorial-Loganlea.htm
This is a European site and their naming convention isn't always correct but I don't think we have this memorial on here under a different name such as Addiewell.
Its location can be seen here on Google Maps Street View

If anyone is out that way we'll need to record it.
Thanks

Maybe David could nip along? I'm not volunteering him but it's not that far away from where he lives.
If not, I'll add it to my never ending 'to-do' list.

From the description, I think this is the same memorial - the plaque has: "Addiewell and Loganlea Memorial"

That will be it Ken. A fairly modern memorial then by the looks of it. 1990s?

I'll see what I can do - won't be this weekend though. |
