Does anyone have a sub to FMP?
I know it's also a pay-per-view site, but if someone has a sub, a look-up would be most appreciated.
I'm still on the search for Matthew Brown of Falkirk/Stirling whom we have previously been searching for as a possible non-comm., and we know he served in S.A.
There are 4 Matthew Browns listed as follows: (all in the Great Britain collection)
Matthew Brown, Scottish Horse, No. 340
Matthew Brown, Cape Colony Cyclist Corps, No. 31127
Matthew Brown, Imperial Yeomanry, No. 22911
Matthew Cooper Brown, Imperial Yeomanry No. 30097
This info wouldn't help to trace his place of burial which we can't find either, but it might fill in his record.

Added: I found another reference to a Trooper Matthew Brown, No. 27619*, Scottish Horse, enlisted 15th January 1901, discharged 10th September 1901
The info came from here: http://www.britishmedals.us/files/127scothorse.htm |
