Hi,
I have a copy of an extract from the Dunfermline Journal dated the 3rd February 1917. It states simply the following:
Previously reported Wounded now reported Died of Wounds - Machine Gun Corps Pte A. D. Moir Inverkeithing
I have searched multiple sites (CWGC/SNWM/Ancestry) but with no match. Anybody out there able to help identify who this man may be?
Rgds,

Perhaps an error, and he turned up a POW or in a hospital? Seen that a few times.
