Hi
I have been trying for some time to find circumstances surrounding the death of this particular Officer and the men with him, one of whom I believe to have been my uncle.
He is commemorated on the Brookwood Memorial and, I now find, on the memorial at the Jewish Prayer Hall, Barlanark, Glasgow.
I know the usual CWGC detail.
Can anyone throw any light on this?
Thanks |

I see that there has been at lot of research on the possible circumstances of this man's death on
http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/41177-lt-maurice-rosenberg-ramc/
The only bit of info I can add is that he is listed on the Scottish National War Memorial and this seems to confirm that he was lost at sea.
