Duddingston in Edinburgh has no names, but there is a Roll of Honour in Duddingston Kirk.
(I am currently working on it)
I am also trying to piece together a WWI list for Musselburgh.

Sorry Teddy, you did send me a note about this and it's still in my pending pile waiting for time. I remember checking at the time and I could not find any local names that weren't listed on another local memorial (mostly Gretna and Eastriggs from memory).

The Johnstone memorial has no names on it.
Does anyone know if a Roll of Honour exists and if so where is it held?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

There is a Roll of Honour for WWII
The Central Library has a copy which can be viewed. _________________ Researching WWI info from Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardineshire & Morayshire.

I was also baffled at first, but I suspect it is Aberdeen.
Is there some way to suggest members quote the orginal question or subject in replies in existing threads ? It used to be fairly standard practice on Forums _________________ Jim

Anne uses the post subject which a lot of us don't bother with. If you scroll up it says Aberdeen WWII

Surely " post subject " is default where the poster doesn't bother to include detail in the subject line.
I see " Aberdeen City Roll of Honour WWII " is now added to the post and David's query _________________ Jim

It does then seem strange that David would cut and paste only part of the post subject to use as the subject of his post, leaving out the important word Aberdeen, and then ask which city it referred to.
Equally, why would I have been baffled if Aberdeen had been written there? _________________ Jim
