Ann Street and Comely Bank Road are near each other so it may be he would be in a church or school in the Comely Bank - Stockbridge area. That doen't really narrow it down though because there are quite a few schools and churches in the area.
I have some photographs of the memorials in Stockbridge Parish Church which covers some of the old established churches in the area. I will have a look and see if he is on them (and get them posted soon)
