I'm working on Kintore names and wonder if anyone can help?
McRobbie is the name and the rank I'm unsure of Royal Navy on the list and H D is the other info. Or HO Might it have been PO......Does the unclear letters say SSS Special Service Ship?
Can anyone find the missing man? Naval History Homepage has
McROBBIE, William, Corporal, RMLI, 16334 (Po), Cullist, also known as Westphalia, special service ship, 11 February 1918, ship lost
This is the only McRobbie I found on my searches.
McRobbie William Cpl PO/16334 MM Royal Marine Light Infantry born New Pitsligo 30/04/1895 Age 23 Died At Sea 11-Feb-18 Son of Thomas McRobbie, Bluebog Cortes, Lonmay. HMS Cullist. Portsmouth Naval Memorial M. R. 03 Panel 30 Rathen Memorial.

He's not on CWGC or SNWM.
Harry Douglass McRobbie a "Naval Sick Berth Attendant" died at Kintore on the 23rd of August 1919 of Pulmonary Pthisis (4 years) at the age of 29.
I'll email you a copy of the d.c. Anne.
