Hi all
I found the link to this web site, whilst on Talking Scot, and read a post there made by Adam.
I had no idea your site existed and having now spent lots of time last night and more again today, I've found two postings with links to web sites which I hope will lead me to more information about my grandfather (sunk in the Atlantic in April 1941) and his half brother (shot down over Nuremburg in 1944).
What a great site you have here - I'm off now to make two more posts! Three down and two to go!

Welcome to the forum Liz!
I really hope you find what you're looking for but please don't be afraid to ask if your queries don't quite 'fit' into any of the categories. Just like TS, there are folk on here with amazing amounts of knowledge and are always willing to lend a hand.

Hi Anne,
I followed Liz over from TalkingScot. I searched through my photos and found some to post here earlier today - Barra, Vatersay and Kirkwall (St Magnus Cathedral).

Welcome aboard Andrew!
I was sure I had posted info on this and the Scottish War Graves Forum on TS but I can't find it. (Not that it matters now of course!)
I had a look at your posts earlier but I didn't know it was you. You've probably noticed I keep the same name - I might forget who I was otherwise

Always good to have new members, better still if they have something to post and also great if there is something on the forum they can use.
Welcome.
