Thanks for the assistance with registering and logging-in, Dave! Marvellous new forum , and very well put together - a very worthwhile companion forum to the Great War Forum for those interested in the Scottish angle.
BTW - I take it the forum's not restricted to Great War Scottish memorials, but will include those represtenting all conflicts in which Scots served and fell?

If it's Scottish and a War Memorial, we'll cover it, regardless of which conflict it represents.
We already have some Second World War and Boer War memorials. I think there's an Indian Mutiny memorial as well, with a few more "other" memorials to come.

Welcome to the forum. Any Scottish War Memorials should be included here. It is not just the local war memorials commemorating the First and Second World Wars. We could do with a few more memorials from periods such as our Wars of Independence, the Covenanter ‘Killing Times’, Jacobite Rebellions and Napoleonic Wars to name a few.
The more and varied they are the better to give an idea of what is out there for people to see.
Regards

Thanks for that, guys! I look forward to making some contributions to this great database. BTW - do we get assigned membership numbers as on the Great War Forum? It'd be nice to have a nice low one!

Click on "memberlist" that appears on the top of every screen. It's in order of joining. You'll see what your number is there.
In your case it's 46.
Cheers,

Still, 46 isn't quite so Johnny-come-lately as the 1,594 I have over on the GWF!

'I am not a number - I am a free man!'
Of course I was just a kid when that was on TV!
Hi Donny, congrats on pipping 46 to the post! I wonder how many posts we'll need to build up here to qualify as the equivalent of GWF 'old sweats'........
