This is the first Remembrance Day since the forum began so I thought it would be worth recording what the media are saying about it this year.

I’ll start of with the online media then the Sunday papers. We can check out the dailies tomorrow and by Friday we can record the weeklies. Please add links to any articles you come across.

This seems the best place to add these. Two images from today.

The first is part of the Garden of Remembrance in George Square in Glasgow. The large wooden cross is an original marker for an unknown grave in France.



And the second picture shows even the young have an interest. This is my daughter looking at the remembrance crosses in the "Cameronians" section of the Garden of Remembrance. At three years old she was completely silent for the two minutes silence. I was so proud of her. And surprised, since it's usually a chore to get her to keep quiet!
