Stunning memorials and the Townhouse looks a fantastic place to visit.
Will need to get names though (added to 'to do' list).

The main memorial in Inverness is by the river. We have it here:

http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=449

I take it most of the names are the same but there may be differences.

Strange that there are two memorials in the town listing all the names.

The Town House does look like a place worth visiting. It should also contain other memorials to Inverness based Great War units.

Regards

Adam

This Town House in Inverness is open to the Public with permission of course ... I asked the receptionist and she had to ring upstairs to ask if there were war memorials upstairs but I got permission to go upstairs as there was no Council Meeting in progress . A variety of war memorials & Regimental standards laid up too .

I see that the WW2 panel is headed Roll of Honour but presumably this is only those who died and not a full Roll of Honour of all those who served?
