The Aberdeen Journal of 24th May, 1920, reported on the unveiling of the Aberdeen Painters Memorial in the Trades Hall, Belmont Street, Aberdeen. Looks like the building has changed hands several times but I wonder if this memorial still exists anywhere?

that's only the second memorial that I have seen to painters, the one in Dumfries has long since disappeared with no photographic record, so here's hoping this one fared better.
