I noticed the name of Torello Lazzerini on the Old Kilpatrick memorial. I have been unable to find out anything about him.
Anyone find him on CWGC/SNWM or anywhere else?
Cheers,
Derek. |

I assume he is of Italian extraction and possibly a foreign national.
He could only be on CWGC if he qualified the be there. Same true for SNWM. _________________ Jim

No sign of him in Scotland on the 1911 census. |

He is on the 1915 Valuation Roll as Torello Lazzerini, Confectioner and Tenant of a shop at 6 Erskine Place, Old Kilpatrick. _________________ Ken |

I suposse he could have fought for the Italian forces?
There were 4 men of Italian extraction from my home town who were in Italian forces early in WW1.

Clelland War Memorial lists two men who served in the Italian Army and died in 1915 so Torello Lazzerini may well have died whilst serving in the Italian Forces.
