I have found mistakes with the names on this memorial the Durno's have two entries which are wrong.
Who should be contacted to correct this?

The memorial is located within the curtilage of of the "B" Listed Blairdaff Kirk. The War Memorial is maintained by Aberdeenshire Council.

I am not sure they would want to make any changes, especially since the christain name initials are correct and they may have been like this since the memorial was raised, nearly 100 years ago

That said, they might be persuaded to change it ( provided it does not damage the memorial ) if you can turn up a clear image of the memorial, when new, showing the lettering different to that shown now. I suspect change could leave lead pin holes obvious to all.

I have a contact, but not prepared to give the details here. If you send me an e-mail I can advise.
