Don't think he will be on any civic memorial. (Was there one for Maryhill?)
The Glasgow Roll of Honour gives the same address in Maryhill as you have.
I'd guess that a better bet would be a church or company memorial.
What occupation does the 1911 census show?

I don't have a clue....about the occupation. I'm just having a re-look at info I hold and just asked about Alexander Taylor just in case he appeared on anyone's database.
