Found a reference to this memorial unveiled in 1921. It was on the wall at the entrance to their Club Rooms in Speygate, Perth. This area is at the rear of Perth Sheriff Court and much changed since that time.
Spoke to Tommy Smyth but it would seem this is another memorial long gone. A great shame as this is the only football memorial that I have noted in Perthshire. However the names of the thirteen players appear in the newspaper article. |
