Found the website for the 602 (City of Glasgow) Museum Association. A very well put together website, well worth a browse:

It is good. I see it was launched just over a month ago. I'd have like a little more information on their WW2 tab for their time after 1940 but it's early days so hopefully that may come.

602 were based at RAF Drem in East Lothian in 1939 where they had the first crack at a German bomber over the UK during the war.

RAF Drem is actually a mile up the road from Drem at a place called Fenton Barns. I know this because I've been driving past it every night this week. The runways have gone but a few hangers are still in use by a farm.

Cheers

Adam
