Thanks.
The SWB roll links the the man to the number 18219. I had the casualty list which links it to Kircudbright. Luckily McDill is not a very common name. I think the evidence gathered, as a whole, will be sufficient in this case.
Will update when submitted.

18219 Pte Robert McDill, 1st K.O.S.B. has been forwarded as a case, on Ken's behalf, to CWGC / MOD as a non comm death due to service related causes ( shrapnel wounds). His details are now in the system.
Will update when further details available.
