The Glenkens is an area of 4 parishes (Balmaclellan, Carsphairn, Dalry and New Galloway) in the northern part of Kirkcudbrightshire.

I have made a Photostory (animated slide show) of all 27 memorials in the Glenkens set to the soundtrack of Flowers of the Forest. It is a 'wmv' file and runs for 2mins 37 seconds and will run on computers running Windows XP or Windows Vista - for any other operating system, you take your chance.

If anyone would like a copy emailed to them for use for any non-commercial purpose, please send me a PM with your email address.

The file is 5.6MB so if this is more than your mail attachment limit, let me know and I will see if I can work something out. When you get the file, just save it to your computer somewhere and double click on it (it is virus checked of course).
