Always sad when a memorial is lost but great that there is a proper record.
Where is this photographic record kept, is it permanent or just a temporary display?

I was at the church yesterday. It was celebrating 100 years and had an exhibition on. The people responsible for it confirmed that all items on display would be kept for future reference. |

Thanks to Ragnar Ingebrigtsen for information and photo.
Due to amalgamation the war memorials from St John's were transferred to the sanctuary in Bennochy Church and mounted on new frames. All these memorials are mounted on the inside wall of the sanctuary next to the front doors.
At the time St John's had a war memorial from the Second World War, but their First World War marble memorial had been destroyed in a fire, along with most of the church by the way. Fortunately there remained good photos of that memorial and a new brass memorial has now been made.
