I've been having a think, and I've decided to change things a little.

At the moment, each area is a section within the main "Locations" section. What I'm planning on doing is having each region have its own section, with the memorials split up into "Civic", "Church", "Individual", "School", "Regimental and Units" and "Other" within each regional section.

Therefore, some of the topics in "Regiments and Units" will be moved to the region in which they are located, for example, the St Giles Cathedral photographs of plaques ot individuals I have posted would go in the "individuals" section of the main "Edinburgh" category.

This would hopefully save peple having to browse quite so many pages once we have a lot more memorials posted.

What's everyone's opinion on this?

David, sounds logical. I would have to say I agree with your approach. Since the poll is love it or hate it with nothing in between. I will cast a vote for the Love its

New categories for each region have now been added. Please use the new categories in each section.

For example, please do not post in the "Glasgow" section in the main Glasgow category. All the posts in that section will shortly be moved to the relevant subsections. Your co-operation will ensure that there will be slightly fewer topics to be moved.
