Inside this beautiful but rather remote kirk are two brass plaques both named to Captain Tom Welsh but, obviously different Tom Welshes! CWGC is not very informative and at first sight they don't appear to be related. Anyone with SDGW got anything further?

This Tom Welsh is buried at Redoubt Cemetery, Helles.

SDGW doesn't provide any further details but perhaps Stewarty could as the 1/5th KOSB is his speciality.
