This memorial stands in the grounds of Balhousie Castle, which contains the Regimental Museum of The Black Watch.

The names recorded here are almost certainly the last men to die serving in The Black Watch as it was. Should any men fall in the future, they will no doubt be recorded as men of the Black Watch Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.







Also in the grounds of the castle is one of several benches. This one commemorates Lance Corporal Barry stephen, who was killed in Iraq.
