In Toward Parish Church there is a wooden board for Major Alan MacArthur Fyfe,
which reads-

In loving memory of Alan MacArthur Fyfe, major 2nd battalion the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Killed in action in Normandy 7th August 1944.
