A neighbour mentioned that he has a death plaque for Thomas Inglis Sanders (his great uncle, after whom he is named) but knows nothing more about him. Challenge accepted!

We know he was from Glasgow and was originally named Thomas Inglis but I cannot find him on the Glasgow ROH (any combination of name) or on SNWM or CWGC. I have not seen the plaque to check personally.

No service or pension record found on Ancestry. I did come across a MIC for
12221 T Sanders 2 KOSB which shows only 15 Star - no Victory or British! Didn't think that was possible. In the remarks, it appears to show KA 4.10.17. I thought this might be KiA but I cannot find his death anywhere either. Is this the same man?

So, I don't really know whether I have one puzzle or two.

Anyone help?

Born Salford Resident and enlisted Manchester.
He has 2 MICs - as T SANDERS 2nd KOSB 15 Star and as THOMAS SAUNDERS BWM&V

Died 14/12/1917
10th Bn.
Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

Born and enlisted in Glasgow. SDGW
Father - Thomas. Soldiers effects

I think you'll need to get sight of the "penny"
