Does anyone know anything about this memorial, which was unveiled in November 1924 at the Leith offices of the company.
It apparently had 12 names. From the description and number of names it is clearly not the memorial now at Aberdeen Maritime Museum.
The Shetland Times of 29th November 1924 refers, but unfortunately does not give the names.

A Leith War Memorial. —There was unveiled in the Leith office of the North of Scotland and Orkney and Shetland Steam Navigation Co. (Ltd.) yesterday a bronze tablet in memory of the men in the Company's service who gave their lives for their country during the war. The unveiling ceremony was performed by Mr. James M'Callum , the manager of the Company , and there also took part in the proceedings Sir Malcolm Smith , K. B. E. and the Rev. Dr Wm . Swan , South Leith Parish Church . There are twelve names inscribed on the tablet , which has been placed in the wall at the entrance to the office.

I think it may have been a copy of the memorial in Aberdeen - or rather both Leith and Aberdeen had versions of the same memorial.
The number of names match and it's not uncommon for versions of the same memorial being located in different offices of the same company. It is odd that one is copper and one was bronze though. Was it possible that both were copper and given a bronze effect?
