Auchengray Church has become Auchengray and District Community Church.
Thanks to Mr Campbell Fisher for his help and his permission to post the pictures.

The names of those who fell are shown on the Memorial tablet in the Church.

McCulloch, Alexander W.

No information can be found on CWGC or SNWM for this man.

He was drowned at sea on 24 July 1918 and was aboard HMS Pincher
Some details;
On 24 July 1918, whilst escorting the Standard Tanker War Hostage from Devonport through the Western Approaches ,Pincher took a course that brought her dangerously close to the Seven Stones Reef, between Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Errors in navigation due to fog compounded the error and Pincher struck the reef at high speed. The impact tore open her hull and she sank at 03:33 hours.
