The second Edzell UF Church building was in Dalhousie Street. It became Edzell South parish church after 1929, but was effectively closed during WW2. The building survived until the 1970s 0r 1980s.

The Roll of Honour is a bit of a mystery. The church decided not to have a war memorial after it was decided that there would be a parish war memorial. There is no further mention of any memorial in the minutes.

The Roll of Honour was a sheet of black art paper with 30 photos attached and hand written captions. It arrived in Angus Archives in a relatively modern frame. I suspect that at one time it was in the Inglis Memorial Hall.

The Archives decided that the photos were deteriorating and now have them stored for safety. They do have a photo of the original format. There are copies of the original 30 photos here.

I will post a list of all 30 names as soon as I can.
