In this week's Wigtownshire Free Press a photograph of the 5th RSF football team has been reproduced from its 18/2/1915 edition. It is captioned so there may be faces of interest.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting. Lt-Col Pollock-McCall was later to be commander of 155th Brigade. He is mentioned in the write-up of 241011 Walter Cook on my web site. He looks like a man who would lead from the front.
Cheers,
Stuart _________________ www.sonsofgalloway.org.uk
