It concerns me a little that all of the work done taking and uploading images can easily be lost if the images are not saved somewhere on this site. At the moment I'm using Photobuckect, if that facility closes all of my links to images wont work, nor will any others.
My question is, is there a plan to get a safe storage area for the images that The Scottish War Memorials Project owns, or are we going to hope that these other facilities will always be available.

well we have copies of our own pics at least, and i think there was something done to back up the forum too, but perhaps a grown up can come along and give more detail.
Although, i imagine a website the size and scope of photobucket will be pretty well backed up regularly in case of accidents? So not much danger there..... |

We have taken a backup of the forum recently. Photobucket is recommended as one of the largest photo hosting sites and unlikely to be unavailable.
Thanks
