I think the case for including this as a war memorial is marginal, but I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. These swimming baths still function today. Inside the door, there is a notice as follows:

Henry Christian Lobnitz was an immigrant worker from Denmark and started a partnership with his son Fredric Carl Lobnitz and William Andrew Young in 1895. Henry died in 1901, but his son Fredric took control and developed the business. During the First World War Fredric devoted his whole time to service with the Ministry of Munitions for Scotland. For this he was knighted. By the year 1921 the authorised capital of the company was £500,000, and in that year Lady & Sir Fredric Lobnitz gifted the Royal Burgh of Renfrew, The Renfrew Victory Baths.

I've just been looking at a Newton Stewart man who was accidentally killed in May 1919 while serving on HMS Pontypool. The “Pontypool” was a Hunt Class Minesweeper built by the Lobnitz Shipbuilding Company of Renfrew. She came into service in June 1918 and was serving with the Mediterranean Fast Minesweeper Flotilla. A sister ship, HMS Kinross (built at Fairfields), was sunk during post-war mine clearance operations on 16 June 1919.

Can someone confirm these memorial boards are in the Victory Baths?

I will move this to the Civic section as this is obviously the memorial to the men from Renfrew.

Yes, these memorials are located in the Victory Baths, Renfrew.
