Very low light conditions resulted in a shaky image of this damp little scroll. I will transcribe the names of the fallen.

Located in Cranshaws Parish Church.

Note the first 3 casaulties (Lieut Ferguson and the Lieuts Holme) are found also on a civic memorial, a lychgate, in neighbouring Longformacus parish.

There is no civic memorial or plaque in Cranshaws parish.

I include here additional pictures & exterior.

Note how the damp crease that is affecting the roll follows the crack in the wall!!

unfortunately I missed between the halves:
James Fergie Playhaugh Private RFA
+ William Pringle Broombank Private KOSB

I noted at Christmas Eve service this was no longer in place, replaced by art for a 'forest ministry' project. Told today it'll be put back up in porch in due course.
