Found this in a second hand book shop.
"The Parish of Comrie's Part in the Great War 1914- 1918"
publisher is the Perthshire Advertiser, there is no author, the preface is written by one Alexander McGregor in December 1921.
I am no expert on the genre, but it looks very thorough, 100 pages with biogs and photos of the dead, roll of honour, details of POWs, medals and honours.
Includes St Fillans, which I assume is a smaller settlement in the parish. |
