This memorial lists all the men on the Inverary civic memorial and one other: Neil Douglas

Is this a church or another civic memorial? I would suggest this is a church memorial.

The names from the other memorial:

BUNTAIN WILLIAM R. ROYAL AIR FORCE SERGEANT SERGEANT R.GUNNER
CAMPBELL DONALD B. MERCHANT NAVY FIRST MATE
DEVINE PHILIP J. ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS COMPANY SERGEANT MAJOR
GILLESPIE ALASTAIR F. ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS PRIVATE
GILLESPIE COLLYN C.F. ROYAL AIR FORCE WIRELESS OPERATOR

As per the WW1 entry we should leave them here just now and do some more investigation because there is a difference in numbers between this and the other memorial.

Thanks

Adam

UKNIWM:

Inveraray, Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church Parishioners, WW2 Fell
Location - Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church , Mid Argyll
UKNIM Ref no. 44615

See: http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show/conMemorial.44615/fromUkniwmSearch/1

Also

Inveraray, Inveraray Parishioners, WW2 , Location - Parish Church , Mid Argyll
UKNIM Ref no. 44607

See: http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show/conMemorial.44607/fromUkniwmSearch/1

The 1st reference (above) naming the WW2 Memorial as UKNIWM 44615 is wrong. The heading of the page is "GLENARY AND INVERARAY PARISHIONERS - WW2 FELL", but the remainder of the information refers to the WW1 Plaque (e.g. 65 names etc.)

The correct UKNIWM Reference for the Memorial Plaque is: 44607.
