Belhaven Park was gifted to the citizens of Wishaw by Lord Belhaven in memory of his son who was killed.

Although the memorial in the park has other names on it, this is in the individual section as it is more of an individual memorial.

There is a plaque on the gate explaining the circumstances.

Inside the park is a memorial stone, with some more information, as well as some other names commemorated. I believe these may be workers from the Belhaven Estate.

I cannot trace some of these men (KRRC for example) but I assume from this man that they were connected with the Belhaven Estate.
