Located in Ayr Auld Kirk at OS Map Ref NS 339 219

David Macomb Kennedy
2nd Lieutenant
Royal Scots Fusiliers
who died at Peshawar
on the 19th October 1899
aged 21 years and 4 months

Did the barracks in Ayr have a garrison church?

I believe this was considered the Garrison church for quite a few regiments and units - see the regimental memorials I have previously posted.
